On Friday 29th February we will be officially launching our French website! During the day, pupils across the school will have the opportunity to browse our site either in the ICT suite or at our Internet Cafe, and there will also be some French food for tasting!
We have invited a number of visitors to our launch day, including school governors, representatives from other local schools, and Peter and Trevor who have helped us put the website together.
After school, parents will also be able to come into school and browse the site.
We hope to see you there!

Spent this afternoon at a training session for teachers from across the North East. Part of it was looking at websites from around the WORLD which may help deliver French to children. How proud of you all was I when Windy Nooks 'FAB FRENCH' got a mention for being a great way of developing language in classrooms!
I saw loads of staff from other schools reaching for a pencil to scribble down OUR web address!!!

Me and Dean are going to be interviewing people at the Fab French launch, so make sure you are ready to answer loads of questions!!! Then we will write an article on the computer about the launch day, and it may be in the Council News or the Evening Chronicle!! Make sure you look out for it..!

we all think that the website is cool and we really enjoyed teaching class 3 they really enjoyed it and so did we.

The 1st class was a little bit scary but i thought it was fun first i worked with errin and a boy but i wouldn't use podcasts with the younger one next time it was fab thank you mrs marwood!!!!!

When we were with Class 3 they really enjoyed the website.They looked at vidieos and listened to podcasts.

We are now in the middle of our Fab Fench Launch and we are having so much fun! We have been working with y1 children which was funny it is going really well and i can't wait until the afternoon . WE ARE HAVING SO MUCH FUN!!!!!

Thanks class 11 your website is brilliant. I was sure I wouldn't remember any french from when I was at school but I was surprised. I love the podcasts they are really clear and the accents are great!

I am so impressed with the pupils pronunciation of all the French they have learnt.
I am also impressed by their use of ICT in this project. keep up the really excellent work.

i think that the website is looking better every time we look at it and the internet cafe was so good and the food was lush especially the pain au chocolat also my job was very good helping all the poeple!!!!!!!!

Merci beaucoup pour l' invitation. The "Launch" was a fantastic event which I really enjoyed. The children were very welcoming and knowledgeable. I am sure it will help promote better learning and understanding of a foreign language for more than just the students!! Bravo.
